Volunteers are vital to the work of The Salvation Army. Your valuable skills and fresh perspective will make a difference for our community. Whether it's helping children with their homework, leading beautification projects, or serving holiday meals to the homeless, you help us in ‘Doing the Most Good’ by helping those who are truly in need.
We want all of our kids to have happy, positive and beneficial relationships with the adults that come into their lives. That means that we want our Homework Club Helpers to make sure everyone is safe, but to do so with a good attitude. You must understand how to talk to children and relate to them while maintaining a level of authority and professionalism. You will be asked to supervise various activities such as homework time, gym recreation, free time, etc. Must be available between 3-6pm weekly. You will need to pass a background check, complete an interview and fill out the Protect The Mission volunteer packet.
Help is always needed to serve meals to the men and women of the Bell Shelter. Volunteer to prep and serve breakfast, lunch or dinner.
