Eight Silvercrest Senior Residences are located within the Southern California Division.   Designed to fill a critical need in housing for low-income seniors, Silvercrest Residences have apartment units equipped with a kitchen.  Often located adjacent to or near a Salvation Army Corps, residences offer community-oriented spiritual and recreational programs for its residents. 

The Mindeman Senior Residence Center in Redondo Beach provides 49 units of one and two bedroom apartments for seniors.  The Center helps the elderly manage escalating housing costs in the South Bay Beach Cities.  Residents participate in group activities and have scheduled monthly visits from health care professionals. 310-318-2827

Sage House Adult Day Care is the only licensed adult daycare in San Pedro that services the needs of older adults who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other dementia, depression, loneliness, Parkinson’s or other disabilities.  The goal at Sage House is to help relieve loneliness, reduce depression, enhance self-esteem and increase socialization.  Sage House offers daycare goers arts and grafts, games, yoga, drama, karaoke and therapeutic exercise. 310-832-6031

The Torrance Adult Daycare Center is a licensed Center that provides alternatives to caregivers who have chosen not to place loved ones in a nursing home, but require additional support.  The Center serves seniors, aged 65 and older, and adults with special needs, and provides activities designed to stretch them mentally, socially and physically.  Some activities include memory mind games, arts and crafts, sing-a-longs and low-impact aerobics.
