Major Victor Leslie

 

The Salvation Army Southern California Division announces the appointment of Major Victor Leslie as its new Divisional Commander. Major Leslie, along with his wife Major Rose-Marie Leslie have been Salvation Army officers for nearly 30 years together and have each held important positions at the Divisional and Territorial level. Major Victor Leslie is the first African American Salvation Army officer to be appointed as Divisional Commander in Southern California.

 


 

Major Rose-Marie Leslie
Major Victor Leslie earned a Doctorate in Jurisprudence, and holds an M.B.A. as well. Major Rose-Marie Leslie has a Bachelor in Nursing and a Masters in Human Services Administration. She is a Registered Nurse and also licensed as a Public Health Nurse in California.

 

Active in community work, Major Rose-Marie Leslie has been a member of Soroptimist International, and Major Victor Leslie was a member of Rotary International. Major Victor Leslie has also served as President of Kiwanis of South Phoenix and was Kiwanian of the Year in 1986. He is also a Distinguished Toastmaster and has been the Area D-4 Governor with Toastmasters International.
